Please Welcome Our Strategic Advisor for Europe from Netherlands, Sarah Jane Mellor

The very first European Deep Tech Week is taking place in Paris this week, aimed at bringing ecosystems closer and building Europe’s technological competitiveness. Cybersecurity will be among the verticals in the spotlight and our very own Sarah Jane Mellor will moderate the panel on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure of the European Deep Tech Summit.

A leading member of the Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN), Sarah Jane was recognised in 2024 as Cyber Woman of the Year for Europe by the Cercle des Femmes de la Cybersécurité (CEFCYS) for her public relations and cooperation work.

She has been working at the forefront of Internet governance and cyber matters for over a decade, mainly on initiatives in the fight against the most aggravated forms of cybercrime (since 2013), as well as accelerating cyber resilience and facilitating strategic dialogue between cybersecurity ecosystems across Europe (since 2018).

She is one of the architects behind the rapprochement of two prime cybersecurity conferences — Forum InCyber Europe (FR) and the ONE Conference (NL) — a Franco-Dutch partnership that celebrated its five-year anniversary in 2025. She is currently contributing to the preparation of FIC2026, “Securing our digital dependencies” (31 March – 2 April in Lille).

She is most enthusiastic about welcoming alongside Embassies and partners the first cohort of the Franco-Dutch Young Talents Cybersecurity initiative (2025) back on stage to present their research papers respectively on post-quantum cryptography migration and data poisoning in LLMs.

Sarah Jane also serves on the Board of French Tech Amsterdam.
