Meet our new Secretary General

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Aahil Sheikh as our new Secretary General.

As CyAN aims to strengthen and protect the global digital society and the information economy, Aahil brings his experience in digital policy across the EMEA and APAC regions. He has worked at the grassroots and multilateral levels, contributing to policy recommendations at the OECD and beyond. His independent publications have been cited by Members of Parliament in India, the Council of Europe, and the U.S. Government.

Aahil is passionate about building partnerships bridging expertise across domains, from child safety, tackling terrorist and violent extremist content, digital literacy, and cybersecurity. His experience and background equip him to serve our community of members, translate their aspirations into action, and turn a diversity of people and expertise into a network that makes a difference.
