European Security Forum: when cybersecurity experts meet at the heart of Europe

Due to the developments of the Covid-19, the Luxembourg government imposes to make the event 100% digital. A redefined edition of the European Security Forum (formerly known as Information Security Day, or ISD), will be organized on 15 th & 16 th September 2020 online. It will take place in parallel of ICT Spring, the European tech summit, which brings together thousands of tech experts.
To comply with the health restrictions and stop the spread of the virus, the event – from conferences to networking sessions – will be available via video from all around the world.

The local and international experts taking the stage at European Security Forum will notably discuss the latest cybersecurity trends, sustainable and secure IoT networks to current and future legislation, through keynote speeches in a live streaming. They will also focus on regulation during a round table entitled “EU Cybersecurity Act and the implementation of the NIS Directive”.

While the conferences will be held on 15 September, participants will have the opportunity to discover the latest cyber security technologies and solutions by browsing through the virtual booths. Even though participants won’t be able to attend physically, they will still discuss the latest trends while developing new business relations. To provide the visitors with such a unique experience, the organizers have created a platform, available from all around the world.

Moreover, light will be shed on cybersecurity innovations during the Pitch Your Startup competition, with several young cybersecurity companies presenting their latest solutions. The Semi-Finals of the competition will take place on September 15 th in the morning, and the Grand Finale will be organized in the evening, with the winner of each category competing against each other (discover all the categories HERE).
