Strengthening cybersecurity in Ivory Coast with a partnership with ANSSI-CI

Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN) signed on 5 February 2026 a Memorandum of Understanding with ANSSI-CI, the National Cybersecurity Agency of Ivory Coast.

On Thursday 5 February 2026, the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems of Ivory Coast (ANSSI-CI) and CyAN (Cybersecurity Advisors Network) signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening national capabilities in the areas of cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrime. This agreement forms part of a strategic cooperation initiative designed to better address growing digital threats.

The implementation of this partnership will therefore focus in particular on sharing expertise, raising awareness among public and private sector stakeholders, and providing training to consolidate national capabilities. During the meeting, Brigadier General Guelpétchin Ouattara, Director General of ANSSI, emphasised that the current context requires the development of specialised expertise to respond effectively to emerging cybersecurity and cybercrime issues, areas in which delays are still being observed.

For her part, Ms Inssata Diomandé, née Ricourt, CyAN’s representative for Africa, reaffirmed the network’s readiness to support Côte d’Ivoire, through ANSSI, in international cooperation, the sharing of experiences, capacity building and the promotion of cybersecurity at both national and international levels.
