Born in Amsterdam, having lived in Stockholm, and now based in Dubai, Abid brings a global mindset to cyber governance, compliance, and risk mitigation. His expertise spans ISO 27001, NIST, PDPL, GDPR, PSD2, COBIT, and BCM 22301, ensuring businesses don’t just comply—they thrive. He has led AML, KYC, TPRM, and data protection initiatives, bridging regulatory demands with real-world execution.
Known for his pragmatic, no-nonsense approach, Abid builds resilient businesses by integrating Agile, DevSecOps, PRINCE2, and Lean Six Sigma into governance.
