🌍 Please welcome our newest member from the USA, Dr. Alexander Rasin

We are proud to welcome Dr. Alexander Rasin from the United States as a new member of the Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN).
Dr. Rasin is a Professor in the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) at DePaul University, one of the leading institutions in computing and cybersecurity education. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Brown University, Providence, and has since built a distinguished career in both teaching and research.
As co-Director of the Data Systems and Optimization Lab at DePaul, Dr. Rasin’s research is at the forefront of data security and database forensics. His work focuses on critical areas such as:
- Preventing data tampering and data exfiltration.
- Developing new standards for database forensic analysis.
- Designing fine-grained access control policies to strengthen information security.
These contributions are central to the future of cybersecurity, digital resilience, and data protection. By advancing methods to ensure the integrity and accountability of digital systems, Dr. Rasin is helping create frameworks that organizations, governments, and academia can adopt to protect against increasingly complex cyber threats.
Dr. Rasin’s blend of academic leadership and hands-on research makes him an invaluable addition to the CyAN community. His expertise strengthens our mission to build a trusted global network of cybersecurity advisors who share knowledge, collaborate, and shape best practices in the digital age.
