Jonathan is a trading and systems expert with a focus on information security and risk management in the financial services sector. After beginning his career in systems and network engineering, Jonathan specialized in automated and low-latency trading systems within banking institutions, hedge funds, and other proprietary trading companies. He later transitioned to the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) aspects of the industry, leveraging his technical expertise to enhance organizational risk management and security postures.
Currently, he is the Head of Information Security at a leading proprietary trading company in London, where he leads initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity resilience, optimize threat detection and response strategies, and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Outside of his busy work and family life, you’ll find Jonathan seeking adventures on his motorcycles.
