With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and 30+ years in ICT, Shantanu Bhattacharya brings unparalleled expertise to our community. His impressive career includes delivering products, managing programs, and leading product architecture and review at prominent organizations such as Siemens, Infosys, Cognizant, and various Australian Government Departments.
Shantanu is also a valued contributor to Harvard Business Review’s research and publications and plays a significant role in shaping cyber policies for government departments in Australia and India. His innovation-driven mindset led him to create products for Siemens Healthcare, establish architecture frameworks, and design policies that have had a lasting impact. Notably, as Chief Architect for a startup, he developed a PKI-based product suite that was utilized by both the U.S. and Belgian Presidents.
In addition to his technical achievements, Shantanu’s governance experience as a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) underscores his commitment to cybersecurity leadership. He holds various certifications in cybersecurity governance, a Master’s in Computer Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management.
