Cybermindz US Launch: Mental Health Support for Cybersecurity Professionals

Cybermindz, which CyAN is a founding partner of, has officially launched in the US! We are especially proud of Peter Coroneos, our former VP, who founded Cybermindz and brought it to where it is today.

Cybermindz has made a significant contribution to the cybersecurity industry with the launch of their on-the-ground mental health support for cyber professionals. Recognising that many cyber security professionals are under sustained and increasing stress, Cybermindz set out to provide direct support to restore and rebuild emotional and cognitive health.

As cyber professionals themselves, the team at Cybermindz understand first-hand the situation their colleagues, clients, and customers find themselves in. They provide resources and support to lift their peers back into mental wellness, thereby strengthening cybersecurity generally. Cybersecurity is not just about technology, but it is also about people.

Cybersecurity professionals are the frontline defenders of our digital lives, and the work they do is critical to ensuring our safety online. However, the constant pressure and high-stakes nature of the job can take a toll on their mental health. Cybermindz is working to change that.

Cybermindz’s launch was marked by a successful summit in San Francisco, where they received support from sponsors and the cybersecurity community. The summit featured CISA Director Jen Easterly, who praised Cybermindz’s efforts and emphasised the importance of mental health support in cybersecurity.

If you’re a cybersecurity professional or know someone who is, make sure to check out Cybermindz’s mental health resources and support. Together, we can create a stronger and more resilient cybersecurity community.
