Jean Christophe Le Toquin, in his capacity of President of the Cybersecurity Advisors Network (CyAN) has joined the Data Transfer Task Force initiated by the think tank La villa numeris. He will coordinate the “technical” subgroup.
La villa numeris is an independent think tank promoting a European digital model based on the human aspect. Its ambition is “to enhance the value of data, AI and their players, to ensure that they are better understood by political decision-makers and business leaders as an essential economic lever”, reminded the president of la Villa Numeris David Lacombled, at a time when several initiatives are being taken, including the creation of this working group on cross-border data transfers.
Several recognized experts, lawyers and business leaders are already part of this working group, with a stated objective: “to propose solutions to get out of the legal insecurity as soon as possible.” The list of task force members is here: https://www.lavillanumeris.com/data-transfer_task-force.
