PARIS – On 21 May 2018 CyAN member Dr. Greg Dzsinich was invited to speak at the Annual Conference of the Association of Corporate Counsels (ACC). Dr. Dzsinich was leading an interactive workshop with IBM and EY and introduced various organizational and technical aspects of real-life cybersecurity scenarios. These cases included personally identifiable information theft, ransomware attack, third-party hacking attack and business email compromise. The audience consisted of chief (c) level legal/compliance management of various global multinational companies and reputable law firms. The main threats, as were developed in the workshop, revolve around the human factor:
- People, with the proper background
- People, with the ability to understand signs of a breach
- People, with the ability to work in inside / outside teams
- People, who can work under pressure
- People, who can provide fair, firm, friendly feedbacks within the team
CyAN is proud to have been represented by Dr. Dzsinich at this forum. The ACC serves the needs of lawyers practicing in corporations and other organizations throughout Europe. ACC Europe promotes the common interests of its members, contributes to their continuing legal education and seeks to improve the understanding of the role of in-house counsel.
