CyAN addressed big data and cybersecurity at the European Data Forum

CyAN

The European Data Forum (EDF) that took place in Versaille from 21 to 23 November, is a key European event for industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the European data economy and data-driven innovation in Europe. Likewise, the BDVA Summit (held by the Big Data Value Association, the private counterpart to the European Commission in the Big Data Value PPP) has quickly grown into a renowned event for all stakeholders in the European data economy.

Christian Aghroum, VP of CyAN, was invited to address the issue of big data and cybersecurity in a workshop. In front of an international panel counting around 50 people and following the introduction made by M. Marko Erman, CTO and Director of Research & Technology at Thales, Christian Aghroum presented France’s and Europe’s cybersecurity as well as cybercrime organisation and regulation, in an historic and projective way. CyAN was pleased with this another great opportunity to introduce the association in an international environment.
