BRUSSELS (September 2017) Jean-Christophe LeToquin (representing CyAN) and Dr. Greg Dzsinich (also representing CyCap) were invited to the Advisory Board of the MANDOLA project, – an EU funded program which is initiated to find solutions against hate related crimes over the internet. The project aims utilising big data solutions which are capable to monitor the spread and penetration of on-line hate-related speech in Europe and in Member States. It is key to provide policy makers with actionable information that can be used to promote policies that mitigate the spread of on-line hate speech, moreover, to transfer best practices among Member States. CyAN is a genuine protector of fundamental human rights, which in such a digital world – requires “an analog human sensitivity to guard”.
