Here we are! Established in summer 2015 by 9 cofounders, CyAN now brings together 40 members across 11 countries and 3 continents and it just hold its first “get together” in Paris on 4th February 2016.

On this picture, we miss some folks who joined us later for a drink in SoPi (South Pigalle), but it gives already a good sense of who attended.

Most people did not know each other, and the discussions were an opportunity to better grasp the diversity of the expertise we represent, and how capacity building, crisis management, information governance, innovation, forensics trainings, legal, public policy, risk management, contribute to cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrime.

The meeting provided another validation that our members have joined us with the hope to build a more meaningful way of operating businesses and organisations. While we aim high, we have been careful to define the little practical steps and commitments that are essential to a good governance and a sustainable organisation.

Thanks to Gergely from Hungary, Hervé from Luxembourg and Christian from Switzerland to have made this meeting international.

On a more personal note, it was the last working day for Maelle our Secretary General before she starts her maternity leave. We will do our best to take care of CyAN while she is away, and continue to work hard to make the world a better place, for the younger generations.

Stay tuned for more updates from CyAN!
